Our concerts showcase music from the classical, romantic, 20th-century and contemporary eras. Founded in 1995, the members of our symphony orchestra include talented amateur and professional musicians from the Maritimes who play for the sheer joy of the experience.
Nova Sinfonia is thrilled to have Melissa Doiron as our Artistic Director for the next two seasons. Performances feature a variety of musical selections, including the great symphonic works, thrilling concertos, choral favourites, electrifying pops, and exciting new compositions. We proudly provide opportunities for young musicians and more established performers to join us as guest artists.
